A conversation I feel like I either have or hear on nearly a weekly basis is this: Where is the music industry headed?
Basically, where is all the money going to come from? CD versus digital downloading versus vinyl versus ticket sales are in constant discussion. What are you opinions? When was the last time you bought a physical copy of an album? When was the last time you bought a whole album and not just a song or two?
...No seriously, I really want to know. :) Leave you responses in the comments section below (you don't have to have a blogger account to leave a message, I promise). I'd love to hear from you!

I buy albums pretty regularly, usually averages out to about 5 or 6 a month. Always vinyl too, I haven't bought a CD in over a year. I definitely prefer albums to single songs. And vinyl is just more fun! It makes me feel more connected with the music because I take better care of my records to make sure they stay in good condition. And the bigger artwork is a bonus too.
i still buy full albums, but i am a music snob and only buy music by artist i love. plus songs grow on ya. the only time i even consider buying just a song or two is when it's booty music.
I have to admit, I very rarely buy full albums. When it's an artist that I know and/or love I'll buy the whole album to support them, but it seems that more and more I find myself just buying one song at a time.
I'm going to start collecting vinyl, but I just don't see much of a point in doing that in any way aggressively until I have a record player of my own.
And as far as CDs go? I don't have a CD player of any kind anymore, so it's pretty rare that I buy those at all.
Thanks for responding, guys! :)
